Building strong relationships and maintaining clear, proactive communication is essential, especially when conveying color concepts without in-person meetings. You’ll often participate in project reviews, provide color specifications, and give feedback on design drafts. What is a color consultant?

Color consultants are professionals who advise individuals or organizations on the selection and use of colors for various projects, such as interior design, branding, or fashion. They use their expertise in color theory, trends, and psychological effects to help clients achieve desired aesthetics or functional outcomes. Remote color consultants offer these services virtually, working with clients through digital tools, video calls, and online presentations. Their recommendations can enhance mood, productivity, or brand identity depending on the project.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a color consultant in a remote role, and why are they important?

To thrive as a remote Color Consultant, you need a strong background in color theory, design principles, and experience with interior or graphic design, often supported by relevant certifications or a design-related degree. Proficiency with digital design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, virtual visualization tools, and online collaboration platforms is typically required. Excellent communication, active listening, and client relationship skills set top consultants apart, especially when working remotely. These abilities ensure you can effectively interpret client needs, present compelling solutions, and deliver professional results in a virtual environment.

Solutions Consultant - Emerging Markets (Remote)

PriceLabs

Chicago, IL • Remote

Full-time

Re-posted 22 days ago

Job description

About the Role:

  • This role is open to individuals residing in India with a valid work permit.
  • The role operates from 1:30 PM to 11:00 PM Indian Standard Time.
  • We are looking for a dynamic Solutions Consultant to accelerate our expansion in the European market.

We are looking for a high-agency Solutions Consultant to help scale PriceLabs across high-growth international markets.

In this role, you will operate at the intersection of revenue, analytics, and client relationships. You will own the end-to-end commercial journey within your territory - from prospecting high-potential accounts to driving their onboarding, retention, and long-term market growth.

This is not a transactional sales role. You will build meaningful relationships with enterprise clients, represent PriceLabs in key markets, and play a direct role in expanding our footprint in various international markets.

The role requires a strong commercial instinct, comfort with numbers, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-growing environment.

Key responsibilities:
  • Own and grow a portfolio of mid to large property managers within your defined territory, driving revenue expansion and long-term account success.
  • Lead acquisition and conversion efforts for high-potential prospects through strategic outreach and in-depth product demonstrations.
  • Guide new accounts through onboarding, ensuring effective adoption of PriceLabs' advanced features and aligning the platform with their revenue management strategy.
  • Proactively build and cultivate relationships with large accounts while working with the SalesOps team to monitor account performance, identify expansion opportunities, and mitigate churn risks
  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline through collaboration with marketing and partnerships - leveraging webinars, conferences, and local ecosystem relationships to generate opportunities.
  • Consistently meet and exceed revenue and performance targets within your market.

About you:

  • 4+ years of experience in B2B, revenue-carrying, or client-facing roles - ideally within SaaS or other complex products.
  • Experience in the vacation rental, hospitality, or revenue management space is a strong plus (but not mandatory).
  • Strong analytical and quantitative ability, with comfort interpreting data and translating insights into commercial outcomes.
  • Confident in leading product demonstrations and articulating value across diverse client use cases.
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding performance targets.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build credibility with senior stakeholders.
  • Highly organised, self-driven, and comfortable managing multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously.
  • Naturally curious and motivated by continuous learning in fast-evolving markets.
