Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Porter / Housekeeper and play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. This energetic position involves performing a variety of cleaning, custodial, and maintenance tasks to ensure our facilities are spotless and well-maintained. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help create an inviting space for staff, visitors, and clients alike. Schedule: Part time 3 days a week 7AM to 4 PM

Location: 5752 Grandscape Blvd, The Colony, TX 75056


Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily grounds cleanup, including trash, debris, pet waste, and cigarette removal.
  • Maintain cleanliness of breezeways, hallways, stairwells, elevators, and other common areas.
  • Assist with valet trash services and dumpster area upkeep.
  • Clean and maintain community amenities, including the clubhouse, fitness center, mailroom, and pool area.
  • Assist with emergency vacant apartment preparation, including light touch-up cleaning, trash removal, and sticker removal.
  • Report property damage, safety hazards, leaks, and lease violations to management.
  • Assist maintenance staff with light tasks, deliveries, and special projects as needed.
  • Maintain the property's curb appeal throughout the day, especially during resident tours and leasing activity.
  • Support move-ins and move-outs by ensuring corridors, breezeways, and common areas remain clean and presentable.
  • Provide bilingual communication support when applicable (English/Spanish preferred).


Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in porter, housekeeping, janitorial, groundskeeping, or apartment community services preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently manage daily responsibilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is highly preferred but not required.
