Job description

Unibody Autotech Collision Repair Center is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Collision Repair Estimator to join our team. This role is critical in delivering accurate repair estimates, communicating with customers and insurance partners, and ensuring a smooth repair process from start to finish. 
Key Responsibilities 

  • Inspect damaged vehicles and prepare accurate repair estimates 
  • Write estimates using industry-standard software (CCC ONE, Mitchell, or Audatex) 
  • Communicate clearly with customers regarding repair processes, timelines, and costs 
  • Work directly with insurance companies to negotiate and finalize repair approvals 
  • Monitor repair progress and update estimates as needed (supplements) 
  • Coordinate with technicians to ensure proper repair procedures and parts usage 
  • Order parts and verify pricing/availability when required 
  • Maintain thorough and organized documentation of all estimates and communications 
  • Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the repair lifecycle 

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a collision repair estimator required 
  • I-CAR certification (or willingness to obtain) 
  • Experience working with DRP programs 
  • Strong customer service mindset 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment 
  • Proficiency with estimating platforms (CCC ONE, Mitchell, Audatex) 
  • Strong understanding of collision repair processes and procedures 
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills 
  • High attention to detail and accuracy 
  • Ability to manage multiple repairs and deadlines simultaneously 
  • Valid driver's license
