Job description

Our client, a growing and well-established RV collision repair facility, is seeking an experienced RV Collision Technician with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in collision repair, bodywork, and structural restoration.

This role is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and restoring RVs following collision or structural damage, ensuring all work meets industry standards and delivers a high-quality finished product.

This is a skilled, detail-driven position requiring a strong understanding of RV construction, including fiberglass, aluminum, steel framing, and integrated systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform collision repair on RVs including motorhomes, travel trailers, and fifth wheels
  • Assess damage and develop repair plans based on structural and cosmetic needs
  • Repair or replace damaged panels, walls, roofs, and structural components
  • Conduct fiberglass repair, gel coat work, and paint preparation
  • Perform bodywork including sanding, filling, and finishing to high-quality standards
  • Align and repair doors, compartments, slide-outs, and exterior components
  • Identify and address water intrusion or hidden structural damage
  • Work closely with estimators and leadership to ensure accurate timelines and quality control
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Follow all safety procedures and shop standards

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years of collision repair experience (RV, marine, heavy truck, or similar industries preferred)
  • Strong experience with fiberglass repair, bodywork, and structural restoration
  • Ability to diagnose collision damage beyond surface-level issues
  • Familiarity with RV construction, including walls, roofs, and slide-out systems
  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, and body repair equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret repair estimates and work orders
  • High attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship

  • Prior RV collision or RV service experience
