What is a collision center?

A Collision Center is a specialized auto repair facility that focuses on repairing vehicles after they have been involved in an accident. These centers offer services such as bodywork, paint matching, frame straightening, and replacement of damaged parts to restore vehicles to their pre-accident condition. Collision Centers work with insurance companies, provide estimates, and ensure that repairs meet safety and manufacturer standards. They often employ skilled technicians trained in the latest repair technologies and equipment.

To thrive in a Collision Center role, you need expertise in auto body repair, painting, and damage assessment, typically supported by automotive technology training or ASE certification.
