PROLIM Global Corporation (www.prolim.com) is currently seeking a Software Engineer 3 (Tableau Developer) for our client Northrop Grumman at location Linthicum, Maryland, United States (Onsite).
Description Of Services
  • The Tableau Developer will serve as the technical lead, designing and maintaining Tableau visualizations to support data-driven decision-making within a semiconductor manufacturing and engineering environment.
  • Duties include preparing raw data for Tableau consumption, establishing data source connections, creating dimensions/measures, developing interactive dashboards, and verifying data accuracy with data engineers and analysts.
  • This role acts as the key liaison between the department and IT, managing data-source approvals, workbook migrations, production releases, and providing direct user support and knowledge transfer.
  • The ideal candidate will diagnose and resolve data/dashboard issues, maintain existing reports, monitor usage for optimization, and ensure compliance with data privacy and security protocols.

Skills/Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related field -- (Required)
  • 2-4 years of hands-on Tableau development experience -- (Required)
  • Proficient with Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server/Online, and Hyper extracts -- (Required)
  • Strong SQL skills for data extraction and transformation -- (Required)
  • Ability to translate business requirements into effective visual analytics -- (Required)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills -- (Required)
  • Experience integrating Tableau with R, Python, or other analytical languages -- (Preferred)
  • Experience with data-catalog tools such as Collibra -- (Preferred)
