Jersey College is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to assist our campus in recruiting faculty and staff to serve our students and stakeholders.  This is a remote position.

Position Statement The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for the implementation of sourcing strategies to identify appropriate candidates for the various positions required at the institutional and campus level. Utilizing these strategies, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will build a talent network to enable the identification and engagement of management, faculty and administrative staff. In addition, the Talent Acquisition Manager will provide full life-cycle recruiting services including but not limited to: sourcing for existing and expansion campuses; requisitions creation and candidate management/documentation within an application tracking system and contact management system; candidate screening/interview services and guidance on interviewing best practices; and negotiating directly with candidates.

Job Responsibilities \tDevelopment of Hiring Network \t \t\tDevelop and execute a proactive, innovative, cost-effective recruitment/sourcing strategy to target a pool of qualified applicants for vacancies and expansion \t\tUse various Social Media platforms as an employee sourcing and employer branding tool \t\tDevelop network of referral sources for current and future positions to decrease reliance on job posting platforms \t\tDevelop and maintain a network and database of potential candidates for future needs, including a pipeline of passive candidates \t\tSupport hiring process of institution \t \t \tCoordination of Interviewing and Hiring Process \t \t\tDevelop and implement a structured process for identifying and tracking candidates to improve time-to-hire \t\tContact potential candidates, develop and document profiles and maintain contact notes within ATS systems \t\tto ensure a high touch candidate experience and ensure Jersey College as an employer of choice \t\tLeverage technology for excellent candidate relationship management to discover and sustain cold/warm \t\tleads, hot leads, referrals, and other potential prospects \t\tUtilize existing job descriptions, initiate internal and external job postings, and develop creative recruitment \t\tprograms and marketing materials \t\tIncrease the number of qualified applicants for existing and expansion campuses \t\tPrioritize recruiting, screening, interviewing and onboarding of applicants for positions in the organization \t\tEstablish a rapport with hiring Managers allowing for an efficient process to identify and hire required talent \t\tWork closely with hiring Managers and educational leadership to understand staffing needs and \t\tdevelop proactive, innovative sourcing/recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent \t\tEnter and maintain current, accurate, and consistent information in the applicant tracking system, including \t\tbut not limited to job posting content, applicant tracking and response, anecdotal information, and other \t\trequired data \t\tPerform reference and background checks, verification of licensure, and/or certification per Jersey College \t\tposition requirements \t\tConduct exit interviews, track quantitative and qualitative data and report to hiring Managers \t\t  \t \t QualificationsPreferred Qualifications/Competencies \t3 years of talent acquisition level experience conducting effective sourcing / full-cycle recruiting for a variety of \tleadership, management, clinical, professional, technical, and support positions \tBachelor degree preferred \tAn outgoing, approachable style and a passion for helping others succeed \tExcellent communication and presentation skills \tHealthcare industry or related field preferred
