Job description
At Prep Academy Tutors, we're on a mission to ignite a love of learning and help students achieve their fullest potential. We're a dynamic, private in-home and online tutoring company dedicated to providing exceptional educational support across all subjects and grade levels. But here's the catch: we don't just hire anyone-we hire the best.
Are you an energetic, enthusiastic, and driven educator who wants to make a real difference? Are you passionate about helping high school students build confidence in English, strengthen their writing skills, and achieve academic success? If so, we want YOU!
Who's the Right Fit?We are looking for in-home, in-person High School Math and Science Tutors to support students throughout North Toronto and Downtown Toronto. The ideal candidate is passionate about teaching, committed to student success, and skilled at creating engaging, personalized learning experiences.
Qualified candidates will have experience tutoring or teaching high school English and be comfortable providing in-home, in-person instruction, with the option to support students online as needed. Familiarity with the Ontario secondary English curriculum (Grades 9-12) is essential.
As a Prep Academy Tutor, You Will:- Empower students with personalized academic support aligned with the Ontario secondary English curriculum.

Flexible Hours - Create a schedule that works for you. Whether you're looking for part-time work alongside teaching, graduate studies, or other commitments, you'll have the flexibility to manage your own availability.
Professional Development - Continue growing as an educator through ongoing learning opportunities and collaboration with experienced colleagues.
Supportive Team Environment - Join a community of passionate educators who share ideas, support one another, and celebrate student success.
Autonomy - Enjoy the independence to manage your schedule and student roster while receiving the support of an established tutoring organization.
What We're Looking ForWe're seeking knowledgeable, compassionate educators who meet at least oneof the following qualifications:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to students' homes in North Toronto and Downtown Toronto.
