JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Penn State Abington College's, Science, Engineering, and Technology Division invites applications for math and statistics instructors (non-tenure track) for part-time appointment for the Fall 2026 Semester, starting August 15th.

Job Duties
  • The successful candidate will teach undergraduate math and statistics courses at the introductory through intermediate undergraduate level.
  • The ideal candidate should be open to offering flexibility in course scheduling and methods of course delivery.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Applicants must have a M.S. or Ph.D. degree by the start of the appointment.
  • Applicants who have a M.S. or Ph.D. in math, statistics, math education, or a related field is preferred.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated excellence in teaching math and statistics at the college level.

The review process will begin immediately and continue until the vacancy is filled. Applicants should submit an electronic dossier (no paper submissions please).
