ABOC is hiring a Credit Analyst. This position is responsible for providing analysis of submitted financial information in support of lending officers. It is further responsible for providing support and assistance to the lending officers in the processing and underwriting of loan applications, production of documentation required to book loans and efficient performance of administrative duties for the commercial real estate/commercial loan portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze financial statements, tax returns, and cash flow to assess creditworthiness of commercial and union-related borrowers
  • Prepare credit memoranda, Loan Committee presentations, and other materials for internal meetings and approvals
  • Assist in structuring loan requests and identifying risks and mitigating factors
  • Order and review appraisals, credit reports, title work, and other due diligence materials
  • Coordinate with lenders, Loan Operations, and third parties to support loan processing, documentation, and closings
  • Monitor loan portfolios for covenant compliance, financial reporting, maturities, and past due activity
  • Maintain accurate credit files, collateral records, and tracking systems (ticklers/reporting)
  • Communicate with clients and relationship managers to collect financial information and support ongoing relationships
  • Prepare portfolio reports, watch lists, and other internal management reporting
  • Ensure compliance with bank policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in commercial banking or credit analysis
  • Strong financial analysis, organizational, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365 tools
