Promenade Healing Retreat is actively seeking a Full-Time Remote Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) to become an integral part of our compassionate and dedicated team. Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, allowing flexibility and the convenience of working from any location. As a part of our remote team, you will utilize secure telehealth platforms to deliver therapy sessions, ensuring confidentiality and privacy while promoting effective communication with clients. The work environment prioritizes collaboration, ongoing support, and regular professional meetings, blending independence with teamwork.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct virtual counseling sessions for a varied clientele, including individuals, couples, and families. Engage with clients through teletherapy while maintaining a warm and empathetic approach.
  • Provide thorough individual counseling targeted toward specific adult issues including anxiety, depression, midlife transitions, relationships, and stress management, ensuring that each session is tailored to the client's needs.
  • Develop comprehensive and personalized treatment plans through collaborative discussions with clients, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic methodologies that resonate with their individual goals.
  • Implement and monitor progress through regular assessments and adjustments to treatment plans, thus ensuring client engagement and the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions.
  • Support clients with ongoing mental health issues and/or substance use disorders, providing resources and guidance tailored to their recovery journeys.
  • Facilitate psychoeducation sessions that teach coping strategies, resilience skills, and self-care practices to encourage lasting behavioral changes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will have the passion and skill set to effectively engage with a diverse array of clients, including students facing academic pressures and adults navigating complex life challenges. Our clientele often requires support for mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, interpersonal relationship conflicts, and stress managementโ€”all of which require a nuanced understanding and an individualized approach.

Qualifications
  • A valid, active license as either an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Oregon.
  • A minimum of two years of professional experience in clinical mental health counseling.
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport and trust among clients.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to fostering a collaborative therapeutic relationship.
Preferred Experience

While the minimum experience requirement is two years, experience with virtual counseling platforms and sustainable treatment approaches tailored for diverse populations is highly preferred. Familiarity with integrating technology into therapy and a comprehensive understanding of mental health issues faced by varied demographics will set candidates apart.
