About the Role
Talent Acquisition Partner
Full-time
Hartland, NB (Onsite 3 days/week)

The Talent Acquisition Partner will lead end-to end hiring for their assigned client group, partnering closely with business leaders to attract and secure top talent. This role includes facilitating regular hiring update discussions, identifying and addressing recurring recruitment challenges, tracking and reporting on open and filled roles, and building strong relationships with external partners such as schools and community organizations.

How You'll Help

  • Partner with hiring managers and HR leaders to deliver a full-cycle recruitment process from proactive sourcing to offer.
  • Lead regional hiring discussions, sharing insights on hiring trends, forecasted roles and areas of opportunity
  • Build deep understanding of each role through thoughtful intake conversations that connect business goals to talent strategy.
  • Conduct engaging, high-quality interviews that create a positive and inclusive candidate experience.
  • Serve as an advisor to leaders during the interview & selection process
  • Posting job ads on our internal and external job sites
  • Proactively identify, engage, and build relationships with passive and active talent through strategic sourcing and headhunting.
  • Build and present strong candidate profiles to support confident, data-informed hiring decisions.
  • Subject matter expert for any recruitment inquiries and Brand Ambassador for Day & Ross
  • Building and maintain a strong pipeline of candidates by collaborating with our COE team and participating in special career projects such as job fairs, business specific talent acquisition programs, school presentations, social media activities, networking events, etc.
  • Identify and implement community partnerships
  • Develop solutions to address recruitment challenges
  • Promote talent brand awareness to attract top talent by assisting the COE in developing, sustaining and innovating strategies to cultivate talent for short- and long-term hiring needs
  • Other projects related to Talent Acquisition as required

Your Skills & Experience

  • Post-secondary education preferred. A suitable combination of education and experience may also be considered.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in full cycle recruitment
  • Transportation industry experience considered an asset
  • Knowledge and ability to provide insight into different talent markets
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver results in a collaborative, consultative way.
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence, present, and build trust with stakeholders
  • Demonstrated strength in stakeholder management, balancing business needs with candidate and team experience.
  • Proficient in MS products, web-based programs
  • Resourceful, creative problem-solver for hard-to-fill roles.
  • Strong customer service and organizational skills
  • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of urgency and quality focus.
  • Ability to balance business needs through collaborative partnerships.
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
  • Results-driven mindset.
  • English required, fluency in French or Spanish considered an asset.
  • Up to 10% percent travel may be required within North America
