POSITION SUMMARY: Operator Role - Full-Time - Dallas, TX

These positions start at $17.70 or $18.45/HR with a shift differential for 2nd shift & 3rd shift.

Hours: 2:45 pm until 11:30 or until finish, Monday thru Friday with some weekends

This position is responsible for operating machinery including ongoing production flow while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Operator Roles may include Blade Sharpener, Block Grinder Operator, Box Machine Operator, CEM Operator, CookHouse Operator, CVP Machine Operator, Dry Room Operator, Final Grinder Operator, Fresh Grinder Operator, Frozen Frinder Operator, Lowerator Operator, Machine Operator, Mixer Operator, Peeler Operator, Scaler, Spice Room Operator and Stuffer Machine Operator

RESPONSIBILITIES: (Include, but are not limited to the following)

Required to operate touch illustrated operating panel, safety switches.

Small mechanical adjustments.

Use handheld scanner.

Visually inspect products for any deficiencies.

Required to set up and tear down area at the beginning and end of processing.

Perform general housekeeping duties in the department.

May need to operate forklift, if applicable

Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP and SQF Requirements.

May use SAP if transferred /rotated.

Proficiency in reading and writing ; ability to complete on-the-job paperwork and effectively communicate across all management levels

Computer skills (if applicable).

Attention to detail.

Ability to solve simple math.

Lock out Training is required.

Must be willing and able to become Forklift Certified (if applicable).
