We are looking for a Sales Professional to join our team in our new location in Gander. We are seeking an enthusiastic, hard-working, customer-oriented individuals who can work in a team environment. The role is a vital member of the team and is responsible to purse and maintain a constant pipeline of existing and potential customers to ensure sales growth and profitability. 

Responsibilities:

  • Source prospective new customers from existing regions as well as maintain contact with existing customers.
  • Passionate in achieving customer service excellence and customer satisfaction. 
  • Sells new vehicles to maintain expected gross margin. 
  • Examines and analyzes actions for improvement to best manage time effectively. 
  • Keeps abreast of changes and updates to the trucking industry - new products, features, accessories, and benefits to the customers.
  • Works closely with the service department to acquaint customers with the service team. 
  • Informs management by completing reports, forwarding information on competitors.  
  • Accomplishes sales and organization mission by completing related results as needed.  
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.  

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Previous experience in Heavy Commercial Truck Sales, Heavy Equipment or Farm Equipment Sales is preferred. 
  • Knowledge of heavy-duty trucks/equipment.
  • Mechanical understandings, or the willingness to learn. 
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency with MS Office Suite.  
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
  • Ability to cold call, build relationships with customers, and provide exceptional service. 
  • Strong negotiation and listening skills. 
  • Commitment to ongoing sales training.
  • Ability to work independently. 
  • Strong time management skills; sets and meets priorities and long-term goals. 

Salary and Benefits:

Annual base salary coupled with commission-based compensation, where your performance equals rewards, based on a percentage of gross sales. Further compensation and benefits include extended health care and benefits package and an annual paid vacation.
