Job description

  • Perform sales presentations and site walks as needed.
  • Provide knowledge and consultation in the form of developing HVAC system related solutions for customer's problems.
  • Understand construction specifications in relationship to production, construction and installation specifications within the HVAC business.
  • Present internal sales reports.
  • Develop and maintain long- term customer relationships with new commercial/industrial clients.
  • Provide full estimates for commercial bid proposals.
  • Provide professional bid proposals with high level of attention to detail.
  • Implement selling and marketing strategies to penetrate and develop commercial HVAC accounts.

Requirements

  • HVAC sales experience.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC commercial industry.
  • Experience working with past and present mechanical systems.
  • Knowledge with control systems, ventilation, light commercial, large package units and split systems.
  • Some experience estimating removals and installs.
  • Must be capable of climbing ladders.
  • Comfortable interacting with building owners, building managers and maintenance supervisors.
  • Willing to cold call when necessary.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work outside normal work hours, when necessary.
  • Successful background check.
  • Valid drivers license.
