Location: Rochester, NY, US, 14605 Compensation: $21-$24 per hour, depending on experience Schedule: 7am-3:30pm - hours will vary depending on business needs, must be flexible

Job Description

The Forklift Operator is responsible for moving product or materials in a production or warehouse environment using power tools and vehicles.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Operate industrial vehicles and equipment to transport raw materials, full goods and/or finished goods to designated area
  • Load and unload trailers and/or route trucks
  • Move product and/or materials manually as required
  • Assist with shipping and receiving functions as directed
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures
Job Requirements

High school diploma, GED or equivalent preferred

Forklift certification preferred

1+ years of prior warehouse, stocking or forklift experience preferred

Must have the ability to lift, carry and position product weighing up to 50 pounds above shoulder height without assistance

Must have the ability to push and pull manual and powered material handling equipment (i.e., pallet jack, hand-truck etc.) containing product loads for a minimum of 100 yards without assistance
