At Cohere, we believe community is the most valuable amenity.

We do more than manage communities-we help create places where people connect, belong, and thrive. By partnering with some of the nation's most innovative master-planned communities, we create places residents are proud to call home and where meaningful relationships flourish.

We're looking for an Ambassador to join our team at Uplands, a vibrant master-planned community designed to bring neighbors together through exceptional amenities, beautiful outdoor spaces, and engaging community events. In this role, you'll serve as a welcoming first point of contact for residents and guests while helping oversee The Club, resort-style pools, fitness center, parks, walking trails, and community activities.

This is an opportunity to create positive resident experiences, support a safe and well-run environment, and contribute to the sense of connection that makes Uplands feel like home.

If you're someone who is friendly, dependable, observant, and comfortable taking initiative, we'd love to meet you.

Why People Choose Cohere

The best communities are built by people who feel supported, valued, and empowered to do their best work. That's why we foster a collaborative culture where team members have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships, make a visible impact, and contribute to thriving communities.

What You'll Do

Resident-Centered Service

  • Answer questions, provide assistance, share information about community programs and amenities, and help residents with registrations as appropriate.

Amenity Oversight & Accountability

  • Monitor interior and exterior amenity spaces, including The Club, pools, fitness areas, and surrounding grounds, to support a clean, safe, and organized environment.
  • Verify access when needed, help ensure residents and guests follow facility guidelines, and promptly report concerns or maintenance needs to the management team.

Initiative & Problem-Solving

  • Anticipate resident needs, identify potential issues before they become larger problems, and take appropriate action within established procedures.
  • Respond to customer service concerns with tact and poise, respectfully address policy issues, and escalate situations when additional support is needed.

Community Programs & Administrative Support

  • Assist with resident events, programs, activities, amenity tours, and facility rentals, including setup and post-event checks as requested.
  • Support administrative needs such as calendars, printed materials, displays, data entry, inventory, ordering, and reports.

What We're Looking For

  • A genuine interest in helping people and creating welcoming, positive experiences
  • A professional, personable, and diplomatic communication style
  • Confidence handling tense interactions and reinforcing community guidelines with courtesy and fairness
  • Strong initiative, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently when needed
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and comfort supporting basic administrative tasks and technology

Additional Requirements

  • This is a part-time, onsite position based at Uplands in Puyallup, Washington
  • Flexible availability is required Monday through Sunday; shifts are typically scheduled between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. and may include evenings, weekends, and holidays
