Job description

Cognizant is a large IT consulting firm that leverages modern technologies to transform a variety of business operations. We are seeing a new Customer Service Representative to join our team. You will join the Client Services team within the Service Group, providing support to Financial Advisors, support staff, and external clients. As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding service, strengthening client relationships, and helping ensure a seamless support experience for both internal and external customers. While this is a remote role, we are only considering candidates that live in the Mesa, AZ area.
Role Responsibilities
  • Respond to inbound calls from branch personnel and internal stakeholders, delivering exceptional service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive client experience.
  • Educate clients on account services, products, and available capabilities.
  • Demonstrate strong communication, organizational, and follow-up skills while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Provide superior customer-focused experiences, resolving inquiries with patience, professionalism, and empathy.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment while effectively managing multiple priorities.
  • Perform basic technical troubleshooting and assist users with common technology-related issues.

Desired Skills & Qualifications
  • At least a High School Diploma or equivalent is required
  • Previous call center and customer service experience.
  • Banking, financial services, or wealth management experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook.
  • Strong Windows 11 navigation and troubleshooting skills.
  • Familiarity with Citrix, Good for Enterprise, and Active Directory is preferred.
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues with monitors, speakers, keyboards, and mice.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook troubleshooting techniques.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The hourly rate for this position is $18.50 per hour.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
