Overview

Cognito Systems, a Planned Systems International (PSI) joint venture, is seeking PRN (Backfill) Athletic Trainer to work at Marine Corps Base Hawaii in Kaneohe, Hawaii.ย  This would be to cover scheduled leave working M-f 40/hours per week.

The lives of our nation's active-duty military depend on outstanding healthcare. Cognito Systems strives to provide highly qualified healthcare professionals to work in the heart of military medicine. As a civilian contractor working for Cognito Systems, you will serve as an Athletic Trainer, contributing to the mission of the United States Marine Corps' Sports Medicine Injury Prevention (SMIP) Program. Your expertise will play a vital role in optimizing soldier performance and readiness.

Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities
  • Be a Part of the Team: Cognito Systems, LLC is Mentor-Protege Joint Venture between Resolution Think and QuarterLine Consulting Services. Cognito Systems is committed to providing high-quality service to our customers and to delivering world-class healthcare to members of our military and our nation's veterans.ย 
  • Type of Work: PRN (Backfill) M-F, 40/hours per week
  • Location: Marine Corps Base Hawaii - Kaneohe, Hawaii
Minimum Requirements
  • Degree:ย Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training or similar degree
  • Education: Graduate from a college or university accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE).ย Passing score from the BOC for the Athletic Trainer. National Provider Identifier (NPI).ย 
  • Certification:ย Unrestricted state license/registration/certification in any of the 49 regulated states, theย Districtย ofย Columbia, or the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the US Virgin Islands to provide health care within theย scope of practice for Athletic Trainersย per state practice acts.ย 
  • Experience:ย Five years of relevant Athletic Trainingย work experience.ย Experience working with active populations (e.g.ย military, high school,ย collegiate, professional sports, performing arts, occupational health).ย 
  • Citizenship:U.S.Citizenship.ย 
  • Credentialing:Ability to pass background check and drug screen.Current physical and immunizations.
  • Physical: Possess and maintain the ability to lift and manipulate loads or weights up to 20 kilograms/45lbs.
  • Job Site Requirements:You must be on the premises to perform the job. The environment is fast-paced and multifaceted, with conditions and duties that can change quickly throughout a shift.ย
