Job description

We are bringing our small town charm to Connecticut and are currently hiring for experienced FT/PT baristas.


Role Overview

As a Barista, you'll be the face of our brand. You will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, while working in a fast-paced environment, where cleanliness, food safety, efficiency, and exceptional customer service are top priorities.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Food & Beverage Assembly: Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and food items following Sturbridge Coffee House standards.
  • Food Knowledge: Be knowledgeable about menu and ingredients. Be aware of food allergens.
  • Customer Service:Provide excellent customer satisfaction, service accuracy & speed, and product quality.
  • Cleanliness: Maintain a spotless workspace, including dining areas, service area, and the kitchen.
  • Stocking: Restock food and beverage items as needed. Put deliveries and supplies in proper areas.
  • Compliance: Follow all local and state health department regulations and safety protocols.


Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a barista or quick service restaurant preferred
  • Be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
  • Be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Works well in a team environment
