What does a Coffee Tech do?

A Coffee Tech, also known as a coffee technician, is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial and sometimes residential coffee machines and related equipment. They work with various types of coffee equipment, such as espresso machines, grinders, and brewers, ensuring they function efficiently and safely. Coffee Techs often provide preventative maintenance, offer technical support, and may train staff or customers on proper equipment use. Their role is essential for coffee shops, restaurants, and businesses that rely on high-quality coffee service.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Coffee Tech, and why are they important?
