Job description

Overnight Baker / Production & Delivery – Kona Coffee Roasters (Brooklyn, NY)

Kona Coffee Roasters is hiring for an evening production role in our Brooklyn-based B2B kitchen. Our kitchen supplies sandwiches and pastries to our Manhattan coffee shops and wholesale customers. There is no retail storefront.

This role starts at 6:00 PM and combines sandwich production, pastry baking, packing, and delivery to our wholesale customers. Shifts typically run about 9 hours (approx. 6:00 PM – 3:00 AM), and we are looking for someone available to work around 45 hours per week. Attention to detail, organization, and consistency are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to production standards
  • Bake and finish pastries for wholesale orders
  • Pack and label items for delivery
  • Deliver orders to wholesale customers and Kona Coffee Roasters locations
  • Maintain consistency and quality across daily production
  • Follow food safety and sanitation standards
  • Work collaboratively with the team to meet production goals

Qualifications

  • Professional kitchen, bakery, or food production experience required
  • Comfortable baking and finishing pastries in a production setting
  • Valid driver's license and ability to drive (required — deliveries are part of this role)
  • Able to work night shifts starting at 6:00 PM, including Sundays
