Akron-Coffee Roasters Team Member! 

United Concessions Group (UCG) is now hiring Team Members to join their Team at Akron Coffee Roasters located inside of the Akron-Canton Airport

Location Description: 

Akron Coffee Roasters is a full-service restaurant and bar offering a sit-down dining experience with a complete coffee program and a fully stocked bar. Located pre-security, it provides guests with quality food, beverages, and a comfortable atmosphere to relax and enjoy their visit. 

Position Summary: 

Akron Coffee Roasters Team Members deliver outstanding service in a dynamic restaurant setting. This multifaceted role includes responsibilities as a barista, server, bartender, and cook. Team Members prepare and serve food and beverages, engage with guests, and maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Prepare and serve coffee, espresso beverages, cocktails, and food items 
  • Operate espresso machines, flat top grills, fryers, and bar equipment 
  • Take accurate orders, handle cash and payments, and process transactions 
  • Provide friendly and efficient guest service in both dining and bar areas 
  • Assist with food prep and cooking according to established recipes and standards 
  • Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining area, and beverage stations 
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and quality standards 
  • Demonstrate basic bar knowledge and assist with drink preparation and service 

Job Requirements 

  • Stands for long periods 
  • Routinely lifts, carries, and moves materials weighing up to 50 pounds 
  • Bends, reaches, and moves quickly in tight spaces 
  • Is legally able to work in the U.S. 
  • Is able to pass a federal background check
