Job Requirements:

This position has overall responsibility for the Quality Assurance function at the company. Job responsibilities include:

- Administering all product testing programs relative to incoming materials, work in process, and finished product

- Handling consumer complaints

- Administer the SQF program assuring company compliance with all SQF level 3 certification requirements

- Training employees in PCQI, HACCP, GMP, and all other Quality Assurance programs

-Provides training to manufacturing employees on quality control processes, standards, and best practices.

-Reports any programming, processing and equipment problems to the corresponding departments and the Operations Manager.

-Responsible for meeting production, quality, and quantity standards.

-Responsible for implementing company safety policies and training employees.

- Managing customer and third-party audits

- Maintaining all product specifications and writing new specifications as needed

- Proven ability to lead an organization to uniformly embrace the company quality programs.

- SQF and HACCP background.

- Managing the Kosher and Organic Certification programs

Qualifications and Skills Required:

-MUST HAVE FOOD SAFETY QUALITY CONTROL EXPERIENCE

-Able to train employees in up to date quality control protocols

-Good organizational skills

-Must be able to adhere to health and safety regulations

-Ability to meet strict deadlines

-MUST HAVE certifications of FDA FSMA standards, and have certifications and be able to -implement GMPs, SOPs, OSHA, and any other regulations

- A minimum of two years of related experience in Food Safety Quality Control
