Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Schedule: Day shifts (No late nights! Dealership’s cafe hours fluctuate between 6:30 A.M. to 2:30 PM)

Position Overview

Desert Toyota of Tucson is seeking a reliable, high-energy Cafe Cook to run the kitchen operations at our popular on-site restaurant, Desi's Diner. Our diner provides homemade breakfasts, lunches, and premium refreshments to our busy dealership clients and hard-working staff members. If you love working in a fast-paced environment with predictable day hours and great community vibes, we want to hear from you!

Core Duties & Responsibilities

  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook classic homemade breakfast and lunch items quickly and accurately.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Keep food prep areas, grills, warmers, and coffee machines pristine and compliant with food safety standards.
  • Inventory Control: Monitor ingredients, track stock levels, and coordinate weekly food and beverage orders.
  • Customer Interaction: Ring up transactions on the cash register and provide exceptionally friendly service to all guests.
  • Administrative Tasks: Accurately handle minor food service paperwork and track daily dealership service tabs.

What We Are Looking For

  • Previous experience as a short-order cook, line cook, or cafe crew member is highly preferred.
  • Valid Food Handler's Card (or willingness to obtain one before starting).
  • Strong multitasking skills with the physical stamina to stand for extended periods.
