Job description

As a Team Member, Coffee and Event Services, you'll be a versatile, hands-on part of the Kamari Coffee team — supporting our coffee events, staffing our barista bar, and keeping our warehouse and inventory running smoothly. This role blends guest-facing service with behind-the-scenes prep and logistics, so no two days look exactly alike. You will support events from prep to execution and breakdown, craft and serve quality coffee beverages, and help keep our headquarters organized and stocked — all while ensuring the highest standards of customer satisfaction, professionalism, and teamwork.


Key Responsibilities


Event Service
• Assist with event prep and staging at our headquarters
• Transport coffee and supplies to event venues
• Set up service areas and presentation displays
• Serve guests with a positive, friendly attitude
• Clean up after events and return equipment to our offices
• Anticipate guests' needs and go above and beyond in service delivery


Barista Support
• Prepare and serve espresso-based drinks, brewed coffee, and other menu beverages to company quality standards
• Operate, clean, and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and brewing equipment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary barista station during and after service
• Monitor beverage supplies (coffee, milk, syrups, cups, etc.) and restock as needed during events and shifts
• Answer guest questions about menu offerings, coffee origins, and brewing methods


Warehouse Support
• Receive, inspect, and organize incoming inventory, product, and event supplies
• Pull, prepare, and stage equipment and supplies ahead of upcoming events
• Help maintain accurate inventory counts and flag shortages or reorder needs
• Load and unload vehicles for event transport
• Keep warehouse and storage areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
• Assist with basic equipment upkeep and troubleshooting


General
• Maintain safety, sanitation, and quality standards at all times
• Remain composed and professional in fast-paced environments

• Demonstrate professionalism in appearance and behavior
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management


Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 1 year of experience in hospitality, catering, food & beverage, or customer service

• Minimum 1 year of barista experience 

• Basic food safety knowledge; Food Handler certification

• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
• Reliable transportation to and from events and our headquarters
• Comfortable learning basic coffee/espresso equipment operation
• Must wear appropriate protective clothing (non-slip shoes required)
• Ability to follow instructions and adapt to changing needs across service, bar, and warehouse tasks


Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift up to 40–50 lbs.
• Ability to push up to 50–100 lbs.
