A Unity development tutor is needed in our center, and will be prioritized for filling this position
This is continued position, not available for only summer employment
We are looking for a Sensei to join our team of dynamic, energetic, forward thinking minds. We will all be working toward a common goal: providing a fun and safe learning environment for children ages 8-14 with block/beginner coding, JavaScript, C#, and more. This individual reviews fundamentals and vocabulary with fun activities and games, they provide instruction and oversee different STEM activities biweekly, they assist with child check in and out, as well as lesson discussions for children during their sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist children with their coding curriculum and complete session check outs.
  • Perform parent inquiry tours, showcasing our programs and answering questions. Sales goals and bonus structure available based on performance
  • Answer phones, schedule trial sessions, and provide excellent customer service
  • Assist in the creation of marketing materials, including flyers and monthly highlight videos for the classroom and lobby, on Canva
  • Set up weekly "brain break" activities for children
  • Assist with classroom transitions and help ensure children have a positive and engaging experience
  • Welcome all arriving children and families, as well as communicate the days activities with exiting families after sessions.
  • Foster a fun, safe, and engaging environment for children during their breaks and classes

Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of coding or STEM concepts
  • Prior experience working with children and engaging them in fun activities is preferred
  • Strong customer service skills and/or experience in sales
  • Bubbly, outgoing personality with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently
  • Ability to answer phones and handle inquiries professionally
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and stay organized
  • Must be a team player who enjoys working in a collaborative environment

Compensation: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
