General Statement
Gallatin College seeks qualified individuals to provide non-tenurable level instruction and/or related functions.

Duties and Responsibilities
Gallatin College seeks course instructors to teach in Bozeman in one or more of the following specialty areas:
  • Beginning Procedural Coding
  • Beginning Diagnostic Coding
  • Advanced Medical Coding
  • Medical Billing Fundamentals
  • Medical Terminology
  • Pharmacology
  • Medical Assisting Clinical Procedures
  • Medical Office Procedures
  • Legal and Regulatory Aspects of Healthcare

Required Qualifications - Experience, Education, Knowledge & Skills
  1. Appropriate Allied Health credential in Medical Assisting, Medical Coding, Surgical Technology or related field
  2. Demonstrated experience working with and engaging various students and colleagues within and outside the department

Preferred Qualifications - Experience, Education, Knowledge & Skills
  1. Prior teaching experience.
  2. Understanding of the two-year college mission
  3. Demonstrated commitment to student, faculty, and staff enrichment

Students completing the Certificate of Applied Science-Medical Assistant will acquire the skills necessary for entry-level jobs in medical settings. Students will learn to work in ambulatory medical settings such as physicians' offices, clinics, and surgical centers. Students completing the Certificate of Applied Science-Health Information coding will acquire the skills necessary for entry-level jobs in medical settings. Graduates will be prepared to work in numerous medical settings such as physicians' offices, clinics, hospitals, surgical centers, insurance companies, and consulting groups.
