Job description

Code Red Safety is looking for a safety supervisor to oversee maintenance projects at the US Steel Granite City plant. Work will begin immediately and run for approximately 6 months, working a 5/10s schedule. You must have previous safety management experience within a plant environment.
Applicants MUST meet the following requirements:
  • Have at least 5 years of safety management experience in a steel mill
  • Previous experience with iron worker over site a plus
  • Have one of the following certifications: OSHA 30, OSHA 510, OSHA 500, CHST, or similar
  • Have a current FA/CPR certification
  • Must be able to pass a drug test & background check
