About this role:ย ย 

We're looking for an experienced, early career DevOps ninja to help us build, ship, and secure world class, mission critical software deployed across a variety of platforms and environments. This is a dynamic role that will touch all aspects of the software development life cycle, from conception to end of life. If this sounds like a fit for your career ambitions, we want to meet you!

What you'll do:

  • Develop complex, mission critical software in a supportive, collaborative environmentย 
  • Perform design and code reviewsย for quality and security
  • Manage container builds, provisioning, and deploymentย 
  • Develop test automation scriptsย 
  • Support functional and system level testingย 
  • Troubleshoot and address bugs/issues arising from testing and integrationย 
  • Provide input for system documentationย ย 
  • Work with the Project Management team toย maintainย successful release schedules
  • Develop, build, andย maintainย the DevOps environment consisting of Jenkins and GitLab CI pipelines, SonarQube, Nexus, Ansible, Podman/Docker, RPM package management solutions, build tools, and code metricsย 
  • Manage and develop cloud tooling, orchestration, and deployment, AWS and Azure
  • Recommend emerging pipeline tooling to support efficiency, security, and quality goals
  • Manage,ย maintain, and troubleshoot the development network and assetsย 
  • Manage andย maintainย reposย 
  • Oversee on-prem Jira and Gitlab servers
  • Develop,ย maintain, and enforce the Software Development Process across projectsย 

Requirements

We are looking for:ย ย 

  • B.S. in an engineering field (Computer, Software, Math, Physics, Electrical, etc.)ย 
  • 2-6 years of experience in DevOps ย 
  • 2+ years ofย hands onย experience in a strongly typed language developing complex software systems, preferably C++
  • Experience building, orchestrating, and deploying container applications at scale
  • Hands-on experience withย Python, Bash,ย CMake, and node.js/Reactย 
  • Solid Linux OS knowledge:ย RHEL,ย Ubuntu, RPM
  • Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines, preferably in GitLabย 
  • Experience integrating static application security testing and code metrics toolingย 
  • Familiarity with agile development processย 
  • Ability to obtain US Secret clearanceย ย 
  • US Citizenย

Salary Range: $90,000 - $150,000
