Job description

POSITION SUMMARY:  The Course at Wente Vineyards is looking for enthusiastic, guest service driven team members to join our dynamic team.  Part time openings exist for Golf Player’s Assistants.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Provide exceptional service to our players and guests, making an effort to speak with each and every guest playing The Course.
  • Offer assistance to players, when necessary, to help create an enjoyable experience for all guests.
  • Record and communicate pace of play to the golf operations team.
  • Inform and enforce pace of play, dress code and all other policies of The Course in a tactful, inconspicuous manner.
  • Be knowledgeable of and inform guests about current and upcoming events occurring at Wente Vineyards.
  • Monitor, repair and assist with keeping The Course beautiful and clean (repair divots, ball marks, rake bunkers, pick up trash, etc.) as needed

SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES WILL POSSESS:

  • A customer service oriented, outgoing personality
  • Desire to provide a high level of guest service, always aiming to exceed expectations
  • Personal experience playing golf; knowledgeable about the game
  • Ability to safely operate a golf cart

We are looking for individuals who have a flexible schedule and are available to work mid-week and weekends.
