Job description

Seeking a Full Stack Engineer to support development of a cloud-native platform. This role is primarily backend-focused with Golang as the core language, but will also involve frontend/UI development work and collaboration across the platform stack.


The ideal candidate is comfortable working in modern cloud environments, building scalable applications, and contributing across both backend services and frontend interfaces. Strong AI-assisted development skills are highly valued.

PLEASE NOTE - This is a remote role, but candidates must reside in the Atlanta or Austin area for occasional onsite needs. This is a W-2 long-term contract opportunity supporting a Fortune 50 enterprise client.

Requirements

Required:

  • 3+ years of professional hands-on Golang development experience
  • Experience building full stack applications
  • Experience building scalable APIs and backend services
  • Experience working in GCP environments / BigQuery knowledge
  • Experience with GKE / Kubernetes environments
  • Frontend development experience with React / Angular / JavaScript
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving, collaborative engineering environment
  • Practical AI coding assistant experience (Copilot, Claude, Cursor, etc.)

  • Must reside in the Atlanta, GA or Austin, TX metro area and be willing to occasionally work onsite
  • This is a W-2 only contract opportunity (no C2C)
  • We are unable to offer any form of work authorization sponsorship, now or in the future. This includes F-1 visa holders on OPT or STEM extensions
  • You must be exclusively dedicated to this role during Standard Eastern Time business hours (full-time)
  • To meet the client's cybersecurity requirements, contractors are expected to have their camera on during meetings, collaboration sessions, etc. for the first 90 days of the assignment. Additionally, all work must be performed from within the United States for the duration of the assignment.
