Summary of Duties:

Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision. Interact professionally with other team members, customers, and suppliers. Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments. Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other team members and organizations. Maintain strict privileged, proprietary, guest, and employer confidentiality during and beyond the term of my employment. Adhere to all work rules, policies & procedures, and safety standards.


Position Purpose:

To provide safe, efficient, and courteous beverage services to guests.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Responsible to follow all alcohol sale and distribution policies, ordinances, and regulations. 
  • Serve beer, wines, and other drinks as needed. 
  • Verify legal age (21) of patrons ordering alcohol. 
  • Become knowledgeable of menu items. 
  • Comply with ABLE Commission Rules, and Alcohol Sale & Distribution Procedures. Assist to ensure sufficient inventory of all bar supplies, and alcohol. 
  • Provide courteous and efficient guest services. 
  • Ensure the highest standards of guest satisfaction and safety. 
  • Monitor the behaviors and actions of guests consuming alcohol and observe for signs of intoxication. 
  • Report all concerns of intoxicated guests to the Bartender and Lead Security Officer on duty. 
  • Communicate all concerns or guest complaints to the Bar Manager. 
  • Become familiar with casino events and promotions in order to accurately inform guests.
  • Accept payments and operate point of sale system to track orders and record sales.
  • Secure all monies in a locked bank bag and be responsible to maintain zero balance at the end of shift. 
  • Restock bar as needed and in the absence of the Barback. 
  • Comply with tip reporting procedures and Title 31 requirements. 
  • Keep the bar area clean and organized. 
  • Follow bar tip reporting procedures. 

Requirements

Education/Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old. 
  • Prior cocktail service or related experience preferred. 
  • Requires Oklahoma Liquor License.
  • Requires Food Handler's Permit.

Licensing:

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required Gaming License.

Work Requirements:

Requires problem solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively. Position involves prolonged walking, stooping, or bending, lifting, or carrying up to 50 pounds daily. Work is performed in a casino environment with varying levels of lighting, air quality, noise, and / or temperature.
