Job description

We are seeking a skilled Powder Coater Technician to join our team, specializing in the coating of structural steel components for commercial and industrial projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with powder coating processes, surface preparation, and the use of coating equipment to apply durable finishes that meet industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply powder coating to structural steel elements, ensuring high-quality finishes.
  • Prepare steel surfaces for coating using various methods (abrasive blasting, chemical cleaning, etc.).
  • Operate and maintain powder coating equipment (spray guns, curing ovens, etc.).
  • Monitor the curing process to ensure correct temperature and time settings.
  • Inspect coated steel for quality control and ensure it meets aesthetic and functional standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with the coating process or equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of each project, including coating thickness and any quality inspections.
