Job Description

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to help keep our production equipment, facility systems, and material handling equipment running safely and reliably. In this hands-on role, you will troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and improve mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fabrication, and building systems in a manufacturing environment.

Pay range: $31.51-$39.12/hour, plus competitive benefits, paid time off, paid holidays, 401(k), and training opportunities for career growth.

What You’ll Do

  • Troubleshoot, repair, install, modify, and maintain mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and programmable control systems.
  • Maintain and repair boilers, compressors, sprinklers, cooling towers, pumps, plumbing, piping, and related plant systems.
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, mechanical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Fabricate, weld, and modify equipment or systems to support production needs.
  • Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and safety equipment checks.
  • Use the Maintenance Management/MVP system to enter and retrieve maintenance information.
  • Coordinate repairs with production and department leaders; communicate clearly across shifts.
  • Support continuous improvement in safety, quality, housekeeping, and 6S standards.
  • Requisition parts, tools, and materials as needed.

What We’re Looking For

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Four or more years of hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems, or equivalent technical education and experience.
  • Ability to read work orders, manuals, blueprints, and electrical schematics.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, reading, and writing skills.
  • Experience with overhead cranes, forklifts, hoists, three-phase motors, variable speed drives and controls, and heavy industrial wiring preferred.
  • Coating line experience preferred.

Additional Requirements

  • Follow all safety rules, work rules, SOPs, and housekeeping requirements.
  • Maintain regular, on-time attendance.
  • Complete required training and demonstrate required skills.
  • Work up to 12 hours per day, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands

  • Stand or walk for extended periods; climb stairs, ladders, and platforms.
  • Frequently squat, kneel, stoop, reach, and lift or carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Use hand, eye, and foot coordination to operate tools, computers, equipment, and line controls.
  • Work safely around complex, high-speed equipment and in areas with temperature extremes.
  • Communicate clearly and make timely decisions when supervision is not immediately available.
