We’re hiring for a Quality Electronics Inspector position in Hawthorne, CA. This is a 6 month long, full-time position, requiring 40+ hours of work per week, depending on project requirements. Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform source inspections from external providers of products or services (e.g., conformal coating)
  • Conduct in-process and/or final inspections of critical features, including witness inspections
  • Compile and complete final inspection sign-off sheets for inspection packages
  • Verify that inspection tools and equipment can identify nonconformance
  • Ensure inspection methodologies align with the intent of technical drawings
  • Review and validate any justification for omitted inspections
  • Audit supplier adherence to inspection plans, if applicable
  • Inspect for hardware cleanliness and the absence of foreign object debris (FOD)
  • Verify correct application of safety wire, fastener installation, and compliance with spec requirements
  • Confirm proper documentation and identification on shipping records
  • Ensure product is adequately preserved for further processing and shipment

Required Qualifications:

  • Understanding of electronic components and electronic assembly processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret work instructions, procedures, technical drawings, schematics, and datasheets
  • Familiarity with general quality inspection tools and techniques
