Job description

Storion is an innovative stored energy components and solutions provider focusing on LDES (Long Duration Energy Storage) flow batteries. Storion Energy converts Western-friendly sources of mined and recycled vanadium oxides into the high-quality electrolyte, which is the heart of a vanadium redox flow battery (VRFB). With infinite electrolyte recyclability, Storion is making earth-to-energy a reality.
Storion's new production facility and operations lab are located north of Atlanta in Alpharetta, GA. This is a paid Co-Op position with the expectation that students will rotate semesters between work and school. We are looking for Chemical Engineering students for a Co-Op beginning in the summer of 2027. 


Responsibilities and assignments may include:
  • Working on product development
  • Hands-on testing in the R&D Lab
  • Data processing and analysis
  • Chemical Process design, control, and operation development
  • Kinetics determination and modeling
  • Unit operation design/equipment specification
  • Process documentation
  • Material compatibility testing
  • Many more exciting and challenging experiences
Past Co-Ops gained knowledge in experimental design (DOE), R&D processes, and professional development.

We are looking for students:
  • Working towards a BS in Chemical Engineering
  • With a GPA of 3.0 or greater
  • You must have housing and transportation
  • The position requires working on-site daily
