Job description

Waynflete seeks a Math and Computer Science teacher beginning in August for the 2026-2027 school year. Responsibilities include teaching in our middle and upper school, overseeing co-curricular activities, and possibly advising.
We seek candidates who are able to teach a range of Math classes from pre-Algebra through higher level math such as Calculus BC, as well as experience in Computer Science. Qualified candidates should have a commitment to innovative pedagogy and collaboration with colleagues, excellent writing and communication skills as well as relevant technology skills to enhance pedagogy. A qualified applicant should be able to teach a range of computer science from an introductory class to Advanced Computer Science possibly including electives such as Cybersecurity, AI & Machine Learning, or Data Structures. Additional experience and education in teaching Engineering is also a plus.
Athletic coaching experience is a plus. We are looking for an individual with experience, expertise, and the desire to interact with young people in a variety of ways.
