About the Internship & Co-op Program

Westmag offers exciting Internship and Co-op opportunities for students eager to gain hands-on experience in the fields of engineering, operations, product development, and business functions. Interns and co-op students will work closely with experienced professionals, contributing to impactful projects that support Westmag’s mission to innovate in drone motor manufacturing.

Role Description
  • Work on the production floor supporting advanced manufacturing of drone motors and robotic actuators.
  • Assist with assembly, process documentation, and production-line setup and improvements.
  • Support quality and testing activities to ensure products meet manufacturing standards.
  • Contribute to hands-on production-ramp projects, documentation, and reporting as assigned.

Requirements

Eligibility & Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program related to Engineering, Operations, Business, or a relevant field.
  • Strong interest in robotics, drone technology, manufacturing, or technology startups.
  • Previous internship or project-based student org experience (Formula SAE, Rocketry, Design Build Fly, etc.)
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Good communication skills and willingness to learn.
