Position Title: CNG Terminal Fill Operator
Location: Fort Lupton, CO
FLSA Class: Non-Exempt
Responsible to: Regional Transportation Manager

Position Summary: Operates and maintains equipment at stationary CNG stations. Fills trailers as needed and performs preventative maintenance/work at stations. Respond to and troubleshoots issues and repairs equipment, as required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for the filling of virtual pipeline trailers. Performs maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment installed at CNG stations. Monitors equipment and work with Compression Operations Lead on daily assignments to ensure repairs are completed in a timely manner. Responsible for assisting truck drivers hook up and disconnecting virtual pipeline trailers. Responsible for ordering supplies and parts, as needed, in compliance with company guidelines and purchasing policies. Other duties as assigned.

Other Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Mechanical or Electrical technical school preferred. Military Service record in similar field of experience will be considered.
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record required.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience working in CNG locations/stations required.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience maintaining basic mechanical or electrical systems required.
  • Ability to work day & night shifts, 14 day on / 7 off schedule. 12 hour days rotating nights & days
  • Proof of CNG or Mechanical/Electrical credentials is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Electrical mechanics and experience preferred.
  • Experience working in the energy industry preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Hazmat and OSHA regulations.
  • Strong mechanical background and demonstrated experience performing preventative maintenance in previous work required.
  • Microsoft Office Suite experience required.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, and strength working independently and as a team player.
  • Strong attention to detail.
