Their duties include monitoring the compression and storage of natural gas, ensuring safety protocols are followed, performing routine maintenance, and troubleshooting equipment issues. They also oversee the dispensing of CNG to vehicles or supply lines and may handle administrative tasks like record-keeping and reporting. CNG Operators play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of natural gas for transportation or other uses.

To thrive as a CNG Operator, you need knowledge of compressed natural gas (CNG) systems, safety protocols, and relevant mechanical or technical qualifications, often supported by a diploma in mechanical or electrical engineering.
