Job description

Type: Full-Time, Salaried Compensation: Competitive salary + profit-sharing + benefits
We’re a growing custom woodworking shop specializing in high-quality cabinets, countertops, and architectural millwork for the commercial casework industry. We’re looking for an experienced Shop Foreman to lead our team of 10 and keep production running smoothly and efficiently.
What You’ll Do:
• Lead and supervise a crew of 10 in daily operations including cabinetry, countertops, and millwork production
• Oversee CNC operations and other woodworking machinery
• Manage workflow, scheduling, and quality control to meet deadlines
• Train and mentor team members on best practices and safety
• Coordinate with ownership on production goals, inventory, and process improvements
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop environment

What You Need:
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in woodworking / millwork manufacturing
• Minimum 3–5 years managing or leading a manufacturing/production team (ideally 8+ people)
• Strong experience with CNC machines and modern woodworking equipment
• Familiarity with AWI (Architectural Woodwork Institute) standards
• Solid understanding of cabinetry, countertops, and custom millwork processes
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read blueprints, manage multiple projects, and maintain high quality standards
