Job description

Qualifications:

A minimum of 1 year experience/education preferred in using Machining equipment like lathes, mills, or drill presses. CNC experience a plus. Pay will match experience.

Operate manual and/or CNC equipment like lathes, vertical mills, knee mills and drill presses in a metal Machine Shop and Fabrication manufacturing plant in Ringgold, GA.

Machining Trade School education a plus. Trainees are encouraged to apply.

Using part drawings operate various machining equipment and with experience determine part profiles, machining paths, set feeds and speeds, select tooling and fixtures, and make adjustments as required. Metal parts being produced may be steel plate, rod, tube, steel castings, brass and aluminum. Do hands on production machining, machinist training, and other tasks as required.
