Position Overview
Adecco is partnering with a growing precision manufacturing company seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist / CNC Operator to join their team. This is a hands-on role for a highly skilled machinist who can independently set up, program, and operate CNC lathes while maintaining tight tolerances and producing high-quality precision components.
The ideal candidate will possess strong CNC machining fundamentals, manual machining knowledge, and the ability to create and modify CNC programs with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, program, and operate Haas CNC lathes with minimal supervision.
- Create, edit, and optimize CNC programs to produce precision-machined components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering drawings to determine machining requirements and the most efficient manufacturing process.
- Select appropriate tooling, cutting speeds, feed rates, and depths of cut for various materials and applications.
- Perform machine setups, tooling changes, and program adjustments as required.
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring equipment to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Troubleshoot machining and programming issues to improve quality and efficiency.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment while following established manufacturing procedures.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating and programming CNC lathes in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with Haas CNC controls strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of machining principles, cutting techniques, speeds and feeds, and threading operations.
- Knowledge of G-Code and M-Code programming with the ability to make program modifications at the machine.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications.
- Experience with manual machining processes and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Pay Details: $25.00 to $31.00 per hour
