We are looking for a person that is positive, energetic, respectful, forward-thinking and can be a part of a team.
Router cut parts in accordance of work orders and instructions. Follow company policies and procedures to produce high-quality machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine. Maintains quality and safety standards, keeps records and maintains equipment and supplies. Sets up and operates multi-axis, numerically controlled routing machine to cut and shape metallic and nonmetallic workpieces by performing the following duties.
Requirements:
  • Prepare the CNC router by selecting and installing appropriate tools, setting up material, and configuring the machine based on specific work order requirements.
  • Compare numerical data displays with specifications on operation sheets and verify machining operations
  • Review work order; verify everything is filled out correctly before proceeding
  • Safely load and secure materials onto the router bed, ensuring minimal waste and high accuracy in cuts.
  • Maintain specifications by inspecting parts, adjusting feeds and speeds, cutter compensation, adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes. Inspect the first part for accuracy i.e. edge quality, dimensions
  • Conduct routine maintenance, such as cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting the machine, to ensure smooth operations and prevent breakdowns.
  • Troubleshoot machine problems to identify and resolve issues, such as tool wear or material inconsistencies, and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality and prevent waste.
  • Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations

Skills / Knowledge:
  • Experience with waterjet machines and software is preferred but not required. TRAINING PROVIDED!
  • Excellent English communication skills
  • Have good computer skills
  • Ability to multitask in a dynamic, fast-moving environment
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities
  • Must be a team player with a positive and professional disposition
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time, ability to bend and squat throughout a 10-hour shift

Job Type: Full-time
Shift and schedule: 3 pm - 1:30 am Monday to Thursday
Supplemental pay: $1.5/hour Shift Differential Pay
