Job Type: Full-Time | On-Site
Schedule: Monday - Thursday | 7:00 AM - 5:45 PM
Pay: $22.00 per hour
Workweek: 4 days | 3-day weekends

Top Metal Solutions is a growing metal fabrication company serving the San Antonio area. We manufacture custom racks, structural components, and fabricated metal assemblies using CNC cutting, forming, welding, and industrial finishing processes.
We are currently looking for a reliable and detail-oriented CNC Laser Operator to join our production team.
Position Summary
The CNC Laser Operator is responsible for operating CNC laser cutting equipment to produce accurate metal components according to work orders, drawings, and production requirements.
This is a hands-on manufacturing position ideal for someone with experience operating CNC cutting equipment who is comfortable working with steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
Candidates with related CNC cutting experience are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
  • Operate and monitor CNC laser cutting equipment.
  • Load material and run pre-programmed CNC files.
  • Perform basic machine setup and operating adjustments.
  • Verify material type, thickness, and job requirements before production.
  • Inspect finished parts for dimensions, cut quality, and accuracy.
  • Read work orders, blueprints, and production instructions.
  • Use measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and gauges.
  • Identify basic machine or cutting issues and communicate problems to the Production Lead or Supervisor.
  • Handle steel, stainless steel, and aluminum materials.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Follow production schedules, quality requirements, and safety procedures.
Qualifications
  • 1+ year of CNC machine operating experience preferred.
  • CNC laser cutting experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with plasma tables, CNC routers, press brakes, or similar metal fabrication equipment is also considered.
  • Basic blueprint reading skills.
  • Ability to use measuring tools accurately.
  • Previous experience working with metal materials preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a production team.
  • English/Spanish bilingual skills are preferred, but not required.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
