Job description

Summary:

RooMaven, LLC is currently seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and dynamic Cabinetry Production Manager to lead our manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire cabinet production process, ensuring production safety, and maintaining timely delivery. Key responsibilities include optimizing workflows, managing processing schedules, and ensuring all outputs meet the highest quality standards. Additionally, this role involves reducing material waste, ensuring safety compliance, managing warehouse inventory, and improving efficiency across assembly and finishing departments. We are looking for a professional who can lead these operations with energy and precision to drive our manufacturing goals forward.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Production Management, Scheduling & Quality Control:
    • Ensure all cabinetry processes are accurate, from initial material entry to the finished product.
    • Implement comprehensive assembly tracking to improve production quality and reduce waste
    • Monitor workflow across all production, including components, to balance capacity
    • Promptly identify issues and coordinate corrective actions to prevent rework, delays, or negative customer impact.
    • Establish, document, and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) regarding production quality and workmanship.
    • Support plant layout changes and direct efficient flow across all departments through standard work practices.
    • Maintain a deep understanding of all job-related quality objectives, system policies, and procedures.
  • Leadership, Staffing & Communication:
    • Working closely with leadership and operations teams to resolve production challenges, material issues, and schedule conflicts
    • Provide weekly production schedules and meet with team leads to align expectations, workloads, and deadlines.
    • Communicate daily goals to team members as dictated by the production schedule.
    • Coordinate work effectiveness and oversee personnel-related duties, including responsibilities, performance reviews, and attendance
    • Work closely with CAD engineering, warehouse manager, and production team
  • Materials, Purchasing & Inventory Control:
    • Track material usage and waste while collaborating with machine operators to drive innovation (CNC routers, edge banders, saws, sanders, etc.)
    • End-of-quarter inventory counts and reconciliations must be performed as scheduled.
    • All required production materials should be ordered to support current scheduled work and forecasted demand.
  • OSAH compliance & Facility Oversight:
    • Maintain and update OSHA safety programs to ensure full compliance. This includes conducting equipment safety examinations, providing facilities training, and proactively reducing workplace hazards.
      • Coordinate all fire inspections, implement necessary corrective actions, and manage required follow-ups.
  • Promote and enforce a safe, clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, or supply chain management, or equivalent, 5 years of work-related experience.
  • 5+ years of experience supervising a production/manufacturing team.
  • Experience in the cabinet-making industry must.
  • Have a thorough knowledge of all manufacturing methods, wholesaling, techniques, and related equipment.
  • Proficiency in math and the ability to read tape measurements accurately.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and understand equipment manuals and blueprints.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Strong leadership skills with excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and manufacturing safety standards.
  • Ability to lift up to 35-50 pounds.

Pay: $70,000 - $90,000 per year (based on experience and qualifications).
