Job description

Summary
Produces both plastic and wood parts by programming, setting up, and operating both numerical control CNC Machines, packaging, assembly, loading, mechanical drills, saws, sanders, and other hand tools while maintaining quality and safety standards. Enter production into shop order program while maintaining equipment and supplies. Also, responsible for duties in HDPE Associate 1 if necessary.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Promotes the Company's mission and values-based culture through providing an excellent product
  2. Safety: Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations by all employees
  3. Manages the hot jobs, daily work, and material flow.
  4. Coordinates and communicates with other operators the priority of work needed and any issues or shortages to supervisor or lead
  5. Quality: Interpret blueprints and make part within the tolerance
  6. Productivity: Maintain utilization specified by supervisor
  7. Dexterity: Employee would work with their hands and need to be able to lift or hold heavy items
  8. Reporting: Claim and report work as completed to supervisor or lead
  9. Reads blueprint, files or programs for CNC jobs for product specifications such as dimensions and tolerances, and instructions such as machine settings, textures and determines sequence of operations.
  10. Other duties may be assigned by Manager, Supervisor, or Lead.
