GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
Set up and Operate, maintain various level 1 CNC Sheet Metal machines.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES & AUTHORITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Set up and operate level 1 (Sheet Metal Machines).
  • List of Level 1 (Sheet Metal Machines).

    • Amada Punch Press (CNC)
    • Bridge Port Machine.
    • Cut off Saw.
    • Drill / Tap Machines.
    • Forklift.
    • Hardinge Machine (CNC)
    • Hardware Machines.
    • Jaws Machine.
    • Lathe Machine.
    • Roller Machines.
    • Sanding Machines.
    • Shear Machine.
    • Spotweld Machine.
    • SuperMax Machine (CNC)
    • Table Saw Machine
    • Horizontal / Vertical Saw Machines.

  • Help out with CNC Machine Operator Level 2.

QUALIFICATIONS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EXPERIENCE: One to three years of related experience (or equivalent combination of education, training and experience).
EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence, Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
COMPUTER SKILLS: Minimum or Basic skills: Ability to log in, log out, and easily navigate through MS Windows-based interface.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Basic Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY: Basic Skills: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
OTHER QUALIFICATONS:
Forklift certification required for Shear use.

SALARY RANGE
The starting hourly rate for the role is between USD $20.00 and $22.00. The actual base is dependent upon many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. The role may also be eligible for variable bonus programs and benefits.
