Job description

What you'll do:
This is a hands-on position primarily machining with some assembly duties. The position supports the Prototype Engineer for quick response on prototyping needs for customer projects. CNC and manual machining skills will be needed in this position. This is a fast-paced job with variety in projects. Additional details about what you will be doing includes:
  • Operate a CNC mill, CNC lathe, manual lathe, and other typical machine shop tooling
  • Use common measuring tools to verify part dimensions
  • Provide quality assurance on all produced parts
  • Manage time and tasks to complete projects meeting or exceeding the customer delivery requirements
  • Run errands on occasion, including picking up tooling, taking chips to recycle, picking up material, etc.
  • Perform routine maintenance on machine shop equipment

Qualifications/Experience:
  • Experience with CNC controller, but HAAS & Fanuc controller preferred
  • Experience programming in CAM software (Fusion 360 preferred)
  • Hands on experience with a machining background preferred
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to work/prioritize multiple projects
  • Ability to work with limited supervision
  • Highschool diploma or equivalent required
  • Associates in Machining or Machining and Manufacturing preferred

In accordance with applicable wage transparency law requirements, the typical estimated total compensation for this position is $25.00 - $37.00/hour depending on experience, including potential bonus opportunities. Bonus amounts can be tied to company, location and/or individual performance, but no specific amount is guaranteed. All full-time associates are eligible for typical employment benefits expected from an industry leader (including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, life insurance, time off, employee assistance, etc.).
